Merry Christmas!

We are soooo excited because we finally got to tell all of our family members that we are expecting! It was so hard to hold it in for so long, in my opinion, but Devin doesn't have a problem with keeping secrets. In the past two days we have been able to tell the most important people in our lives. I am going to give a brief run-down of how we told everyone and why. Sorry in advance for our crappy video taking! We are amateurs!

On Wednesday night our good friends Tyler and Jessica came up to visit from Petersburg. We went to school with Tyler and he was an usher in our wedding. We decided that it was safe to tell them because we really wanted to tell them in person. They arrived and we went to dinner then came back to our house. We decided to test out the baby quilt on them to see if it was obvious or not. Apparently it was not obvious because it took them probably 2-3 minutes to figure it out. We thought the word baby would give it away, but we were wrong. But, Jessica finally figured it out and they were so excited. They kept saying they shoulda known if they had paid attention. I guess they had found Tyler's crib that day and had talked about baby names. Sadly we didn't take a video of telling them. I wish I had because I would really like to know how long it took for them to figure it out!

We also tried to get Bryan Karneboge to come over on Wednesday so we could tell him, but he was too busy with friends being in town and holiday parties. However, we were able to get him to come over on Christmas Eve right before we left for church. Devin quickly wrapped up a piece of paper that said "We are having a baby, and we won't use one of your names." For those of you that don't know Bryan real well he is obsessed with baby names and the day after we got home from our honeymoon he came over with a baby name book and said okay now that you are married lets talk baby names and proceeded to tell us what names we could not use. The video of telling him is short enough it doesn't need edited so here it is!

After telling Bryan we headed to Mike and Stacy's and then to church (an hour early). It felt like the longest service ever, but I know it really wasn't. And of course after church we had to eat and do all the presents before giving the present that told. To tell the Burks side (Grandma Burks, LeeAnn, Neal, Toni, and Sydney) we made a baby quilt for Grandma Burks. It was a crossword puzzle quilt. We thought that grandma or LeeAnn would catch on right away, but it took a while. If you see LeeAnn acting funny in the background right in the beginning its because Grandma had previously elbowed her by accident while opening a present. We chose to make a baby quilt because we go down to Grandma Burks' house quite a bit for Sunday lunch and we thought it would be nice to have a quilt for the baby to play on. Plus, I know she will have a blast showing it off to all her friends! :) We had a huge discussion on how to fold the quilt, we decided to fold it so the word grandma showed because it wouldn't give it away right off the bat and I think it was the right decision.

This is a picture of the crossword quilt. If you can't see it the words on it are Great, Grandma, Baby, Laugh, Happiness, Mommy, Miracle, Daddy, and Love.

LeeAnn and Grandma are reading the quilt! Trying to figure it out! Great picture Jason!

.... And Grandma figured it out! This is probably my favorite picture of the night. Thank you Jason for taking it!

I love how LeeAnn stands up and throws the quilt down to read it! Also, after watching the video a few times I think they knew sooner, but just wanted to make sure there was a baby involved before they guessed that.

Christmas morning we went out to Mike and Stacys and then to my moms. When we were opening presents at my moms, my dads brother called to wish us Merry Christmas and she told him that she was going to be a grandma. He assumed that it was my brother Eric, but we straightened him out!

Next, it was time to head down to Karen's to tell Stacy's side of the family. Shortly after we walked in to Karen's house Sophia was eying Devin and more importantly the piano behind him, and Karen said "Devin shes got her eye on you" as if it was a hint. Little did you know, Karen! We went downstairs and ate then I had to get going back to my moms, but I wanted to see Grandma Budke open her quilt. Devin went and got her presents and she knew to read the quilt label right away, so she figured it out easily. The label said, "To: Great Grandma Budke; From: Devin & Christy Burks; December 25, 2009; Baby Burks due July 2010. I think the funniest part of this video is Ruth yelling "What'd it say?" Cracks me up everytime, although in her defense Grandma didn't read it too loud. Karen, I am sorry I didn't tell you beforehand, I didn't know I had to, but at least you knew before all your sisters! I hope you rub it in their faces!

This is what Grandma Budke's quilt looks like, I really like it and I think she did too!

Also, note Gail running in the room, she was off playing with her grandkids so she missed it! I wish I would have been able to stay longer and play with the twins! They are growing so fast!

After I left Karen's I went back to my moms to have Christmas with my uncle, aunt, and cousins. My cousins were there when I got there, but my aunt and uncle didn't get there until about 5:45 because my aunt had to work (apparently hospitals don't close on holidays). By the time they got there I was bursting at the seams to tell them so I kinda interrupted their meal to tell them. I told them by showing them the jersey that Brittany got us.

Right after Devin walked into my moms house from being in Manito, Carleigh my youngest second cousin who will be two in January attached herself to Devin. She would not leave his side. Although I did win her over for a few minutes while I opened her building blocks that she got. Other than that she wanted nothing to do with me!

Here are two baby related items that we got for Christmas. Devin bought the little Nike Shox and wrapped them for me. Brittany got us the little Cardinals jersey which is awesome! She gave it to us on Christmas Eve after we told everyone!

So, all in all it was an AWESOME Christmas for the Burks family! I feel relieved that all of our family knows! Now we get to tell our friends and co-workers! I can't wait until the whole world knows! Tomorrow we are planning to get alot of our friends together at Goodfella's and tell them. Then Sunday we are going to call our friends, and Monday tell our co-workers.

Thank you everyone for your well-wishes, support, and for checking in! Sorry this post is so long, but I wanted to include everything!

The greatest sound in the world!

This afternoon we had our third appointment, and it was by far our best appointment because not only was it the shortest (about 15 minutes), but I had my favorite nurse again and we got to hear the heartbeat!!!! The nurse couldn't find it and told us not to worry she was sure the Doctor would be able to find it and then would poke fun at her because she couldn't find it, and she was right! The doctor seemed to have to search for a while, but seconds were feeling like minutes to me! They both kept finding my heartbeat, which was good I guess because at least we knew I was alive. At one point he says it has to be right in here and looked at Devin for assurance and I know we were both thinking, dude we don't have a clue what we are listening for. Anyways he found it and it was 160 beats per minute which he said was great! We only got to listen for about four seconds, which was kind of a bummer, but I think he had a delivery to get too because he seemed in a hurry and had scrubs on. It was such a relief hearing it and makes everything so more real! We really are having a baby! Oh, and it kinda creeped me out, but I am sure I will get over it!

After the appointment we went to dinner with Brett and Jess and then we pretty much finished up our Christmas shopping. Tomorrow I have to go get giftcards for my cousins and go to the grocery store (ugh, its going to be packed) and get us some food to eat!

Can't wait for Christmas Eve and Christmas! I think these next two days are going to be sooooooooo long!

We are down to single digits...

Wahoo! The countdown until telling the extended family is down to single digits. 8 days until we tell the Burks side and 9 days until we tell the Budke side and the rest of my family. I can not wait! Maybe instead of writing this I should be working on the quilts, but that doesn't sound like nearly as much fun! I have Grandma Budke's quilt done and I am happy with how it turned out. I am mad however, that I forgot to take a picture before giving it to Linda to have it quilted. I wanted to be able to show everyone on here, but now I guess you will have to wait until I get it back and can take a picture, or until Grandma Budke unwraps it on Christmas Day. As for Grandma Burks's quilt....ummmm...probably need to work on that instead of updating this! No, its coming along pretty well. I should be done with the top by Friday; I hope to get alot of it done tomorrow, and then my mom is going to quilt it since I don't know how!

Just these past two weeks I have had an extremely hard time keeping my mouth shut. It seems like everyone, everyone is pregnant or knows someone that is. For example, the quilt shop had their Christmas party and the lady sitting next to my mom was saying that she has two grandkids with another one on the way, with on the way being kid is 10 weeks pregnant. I wanted to scream "Well, I am 11 weeks pregnant" but knew I couldn't. Mom just smiled and said Congratulations, thats nice or something along those lines. Oh and everyone is talking about pregnancies. At the staff party people were talking about what they craved when they were pregnant, I was glad that it was a fairly short conversation because some of the foods they were saying were making my mouth water! I also "taught" a class for my mom and Linda while they were off shopping in Chicago, and I think for at least an hour the students were talking about pregnancy. It is soooooooo hard to keep a straight face! There were a few times I had to turn around because I know my face would have told them something was up!

Time to go finish up some baking and then relax since I have a busy day of quilting tomorrow!

The waiter loves to high-five

Today was a great day! We finally got to see Brett and Jessica, we hadn't seen them since the middle of October so it had been a long time! We decided before we met them that we were more than likely going to tell them that we are expecting and when we got there we knew for sure that we were going to, neither one of us could sit still! I kept trying to drop hints and say things that would get Jessica to ask me, but she wasn't taking my bait! Then finally, I said I didn't feel good and she asked why to which I nonchalantly responded I am pregnant. It took her a few seconds, maybe even a minute to believe us. It was great! Of course they are very excited for us and I am stoked that they now know because I hadn't really been talking to them alot. I didn't want to risk telling them before we were ready to. We figured that since all of our immediate family knew it was time to tell them since they are our best friends! Now, my personal goal is to make sure I don't tell anyone else until Christmas Eve!

Later in the night, we went up to Old Chicago and met up with Shawnae and Dallas to celebrate Dallas's 21st birthday. Devin bribed me into going by saying I could get a skillet cookie, which we devoured along with Bryans help. Then some other people in our group were eating raw veggies and I started freaking out because I wanted them sooooooo bad. It was like if I didn't get them I was going to cry. I asked our waiter if I could get some fresh veggies with ranch, and he kinda gave me a weird look and said, first a skillet cookie, now you really are craving veggies, are you pregnant? To which I responded yes and he said right on sister and gave me a high five. It was hilarious and the veggies tasted AMAZING!

That's all I have for now! I am hoping that the next few weeks remain uneventful! Less than 3 weeks until Christmas Eve! Wahoo!

The Great Hunt

The day after we got back from Texas, we went out and got our Christmas tree. I was VERY upset that Mocha didn’t get to go this year because she was still being boarded from our Texas trip. We went to the tree farm at 11 and we couldn’t get her until 4. I felt awful that should couldn’t go! We all (us, Brittany/Jason, and Mike/Stacy/Patrick) found our trees in under 30 minutes and each family got a different type of tree. We got our tree up and it is still waiting to be decorated. I haven’t done any Christmas decorating. Devin and I were talking about it tonight and we think since we had Christmas in Texas we are Christmas-ed out, but I am sure that will change. We are almost done Christmas shopping so that’s good!

Anyways, Christmas tree hunting was especially eventful this year because we took the opportunity to tell Patrick that he was going to be an uncle. As you can see in the video he was shocked and didn’t believe us! We are really hoping he can keep quiet, he says he has so far, and its been 4 days so what is 22 more days. He kept saying I have to keep quiet for that long, I dunno if I can do it, then I told him long its been and he thought he could do it especially since he has a lot of schoolwork to keep him busy! I think he can do it, Devin is still unsure though. Here is the video of Uncle Patrick! Sorry for being so loud and for the crappy video taking!

This is a short video of Rachel playing with the pocket knife during our Christmas in Texas! It always makes me smile so I couldn't resist posting it!

Thanks for checking in and sorry it took so long for me to post these videos!

Telling Christy's Family

So, after what seemed like forever I finally got to tell my family tonight! Eric and my grandparents were supposed to land at 4:45, but of course their flight had to be delayed. They didn't end up getting in until about 6:45 and then we still had to do dinner! It was pure torture and Brittany kept texting about how excited she was which just kept making me more excited. Devin, my mom, and I were at dinner before the others so it gave us a chance to scheme and plan out how it was all going to go down. When we would tell, where to sit, who to get on camera, etc.

After dinner, which took forever, we came back to the house for Christmas! My mom and I were the ones that were handing out presents so we made sure Devin got his new video camera early so he could have it all set up and we made sure that my 'revealing' present was set aside until the end. I was trying to hurry everyone along, so we could tell them! Well, we eventually got to the end and I opened up a present from my mom which was a maternity shirt that said "Future Cardinals Fan with an arrow pointing down" I knew what it was and laughed and said awesome, then turned it over for everyone to see. My grandma read it and said "Future Cardinals Fan" and then paused, you could see the wheels turning, and she said "Are you pregnant?" You can hear Rachel loud and clear though and she says its because she was the one closest to the camera, but in reality she was just the loudest one! Sorry, Rach, but it is true!

Well I am off to bed!

Second Appointment and Start of Trip to Texas...

Good morning! I only have a few minutes before we have to leave to catch our plane to Texas, but I figured I would update. I was going to last night, but was just too tired after packing and freezing my butt off at the last softball game of the season! Devin did great filling in on my team, he played short and had a nice hit and a walk. He turned a double play too, so it was a great way to end the year.

Yesterday, I had my second doctors appointment. It was scheduled for 3:20 and we didn't leave there until 4:40 which was very frustrating. Other than that it was very uneventful which is a good thing. The nurse offered to try and find a heartbeat but said normally you can't hear it until 10-12 weeks and since I was a little over 8 we decided not to because if it wasn't there it would have caused me stress, which was pointless. So, we get to do that when I go back in four weeks. I got the H1N1 shot in my left arm and a crap ton of more blood taken, because they lost/cancelled half of the order the first time around. Luckily that stuff doesn't bother me! Oh, and I lost weight which the nurse commented on, but no one else did. I haven't been sick so that was weird I guess its just because I am eating better?

Devin is packing the car so I should get going! Can't wait for Texas its going to be sooooo warm! Tonight we are going to dinner after my grandparents get there then we are doing Christmas, so they will know tonight! Should be a good time, we are going to take pictures/videos that I will post when we get back (Saturday) if I can't get it to work down there! Hoping to be able to update from down there!

This is kinda fun...

Devin had a little fun with his co-worker, Doris today. They were waiting for a meeting to start and they were talking about how they wanted to go at home and Devin said wait, maybe I don't want to go home because Christy was home sick and he didn't want to get sick again. Doris asked what was wrong, which he responded that I had a huge headache when I got up this morning and Doris immediately asked if I was pregnant. Devin just gave her a wierd look (and if I know Devin, probably a little psssssh) and she said well a headache doesn't mean shes pregnant, I was just wondering. Devin said he about started cracking up, but he somehow managed to hold it in. I am not so sure that I could have!

I've spent the day laying around trying to get rid of my headache. It seemed better in the middle of the day so I ventured out to Walmart, my least favorite place to go, to look at some Christmas gift ideas and get some food. Oh, and while I was checking out, when I opened my purse to get my debit card I found a iced tea bottle that Mikey hid in my purse Saturday night when I went to the bathroom. So, thanks Mikey! It took me 2 days to find it and you are waaaaaaaaaay sneakier that Me-Maw!

My next doctors appointment is two weeks from today and it should be pretty boring.
We go to Texas in 15 days and I am hoping that we do presents the day we get there so I can tell my family right away!
44 days til Christmas Eve and telling the Burks side!
45 days til Christmas and telling the Rankin side and my aunt and uncle!
46 days til we get to tell all of our friends since our families will know!

It's really not as far away as it seems which is why I have been in shopping mode! I think we are probably about 30% done with our Christmas shopping! Still waiting on lists from some people (cough, cough!) and I am finalizing mine to send out!

Thanks for checking in! Sorry I really don't have anything interesting to say! Gotta get ready for Devin's softball game tonight, he is filling in on my awful Washington team since 4 guys are going to be gone. We told them I can't play because of my knee so hopefully I am strong and stick to the story!

Staying strong...

Bryan came over again tonight to work out with Devin and dinner. Our dinner conversation was about baby names for like 15 minutes seriously. We mentioned a few names that we like just to get someones opinion and one of them he said oh Richards called dibs on that. I asked when they were going to have a kid and he said long before you guys! Oh, how little he knows! After dinner Devin and I were doing dishes and Bryan was outside smoking and we decided to tell him when he came in. Then I decided that he wouldn't be able to keep his mouth shut and we want the family to know first! Brittany helped me stay strong! Thanks Brittany! Well, time to go lay down my back is hurting from sitting at the computer doing inventory all day!

My Favorite Nurse...

So, today is the day that I was supposed to get my bloodwork results back from the doctor and everything that is in looks really great even my thyroid which is awesome because it hasn't be okay in forever! So a nurse that I can't stand, Betty, called and told me all that. Then when I was making dinner for Devin and Bryan, my phone rang again and it was the doctors office so I was kinda freaking, but when I answered it I discovered that it was my favorite nurse that I was good friends with in junior high and the beginning of high school. She was just calling to say congratulations because she was looking through the charts of people waiting on bloodwork results(I still have some tests out there) and saw that I was pregnant. She said that she just had to call me and tell me congrats. I don't know why it made me so happy, but it did. She said that she will be sure to see me when I go in for my next appointment and if I ever have any questions how to get ahold of her and not the old lady nurse that I can't stand. She rocks!

Also, Bryan was over tonight and when he was leaving he said "So, when are you guys gunna have kids?" which isn't an unusual question for him to ask but this time I think I hesitated a little bit on my answer! I really wanted to say about July, but we are not ready for poeple to know. I just went with the oh I dont know answer and he bought it. I really can't wait to tell him, but I know he is going to be crazy about naming the kid. For those of you that don't know he has a list of at least 50 names (25 boys and 25 girls) that he is calling dibs on, mind you I doubt he will be having kids soon and will not be using all of his names. Whatever girl he ends up with better be prepared! I am going to tell him he can give us a list of 10 names and we won't use those!

Off to watch some TV then bed. Not getting to nap is rough!

I rocked today!

This afternoon we went up to Cory and Heidi's in Washington to watch the Cowboys/Seahawks game and I managed to keep quiet! It was really hard because Heidi is sooooo much like me! We hadn't been inside their house before so they gave us a tour and when she got to the extra bedrooms which they had set up as a computer room and a guest room she said we haven't decided which one will be the babies room yet. I didn't pry for info because I am sure she would have started asking me questions and I would have blurted it out! I figured it was best just to avoid the subject all together! I am guessing that shes not pregnant because they didn't say anything and she was drinking. Cory was giving me a hard time about not drinking, so we shall see if he notices next weekend at the dueling pianos! Well, its time for bed since I didn't really get a nap today. I have been sooooo tired I have been taking naps on a daily basis. I don't know what I am going to do with having to work alot this week! Guess we shall see!

We all know I couldn't do it...

Well last night we decided to tell our parents. We decided to do this for various reasons and I am glad that we did. We all (Devin and I, Mike and Stacy, Brittany and Jason, and my mom) went out for dinner at Ruby Tuesdays and Brittany brought up Christmas present ideas, which we planned, and I said "Oh, I brought our lists". So I handed out the lists and all went well except for that Mike didn't read one! Men always have to ruin the plan! On our Christmas list we had items that we really did want for Christmas and at the bottom we put items such as maternity clothes, crib, carseat, etc. My mom was the first one to catch on and said "Are you pregnant? Really?" about 20 times. Then she started bawling and then Stacy caught on. I didn't really hear her reaction as I was sitting next to my mom and at the far end of the table from Mike and Me-Maw (Stacy). I think Brittany was right that we did get a little toned-down responses since we did it in a public place. I think everyone was pretty shocked which was awesome!

I am really hoping that Me-Maw can keep quiet for 8 weeks and it is hard to believe that Christmas is only 8 weeks away. Mike and Me-Maw went down to Manito to see all the kids dressed up tonight, so I hope they stayed strong! I know how hard it is!

Telling the parents made me even more excited to tell the rest of the family! I can't wait to see Grandma Burks's reaction since she will be a first time great-grandma. My grandma and Grandma Budke already have great grandchildren, but I know they will be shocked, especially my grandma. It will be great telling everyone because we should be able to catch their reactions on camera!

So the revised plan is to tell my brother, Eric, and his wife, Rachel, and my grandparents when we all meet at my brothers place in Texas for Thanksgiving/Christmas. I am hoping that we do our Christmas the first night there so we don't have to hold it in for too long! We really want to be able to tell them in person so it works out great that we will all be together. Then Christmas Eve we will tell the Burks side and Christmas Day the Rankin side. Everyone is going to be so surprised its going to be great!

Oh, and for those of you who don't get the Me-Maw thing it is from an episode of the Big Bang Theory in which Sheldon calls his grandma Me-Maw. We thought it was hilarious and its always fun to tease Stacy because she makes it so easy! :)

Spilling the beans....

So we all know that I couldn't last until Thanksgiving to tell the parents! It has only been two days! We have decided to tell them tomorrow night just because they may notice and there are things I need to avoid that might be obvious such as alcohol and smoke. Also, they may notice if I start getting morning sickness especially since I am going to be working with my mom alot the next few weeks because of inventory.

We went to dinner with my mom tonight, since she just got back from sewing all week in Springfield and I did make it through the whole dinner without saying anything so I am proud of myself for that!

Not sure what the plan is yet, we did buy little things that are a countdown that say how many ever weeks til I am a grandma, but thats all we have. I guess I should start coming up with a plan!

Doing good so far...

I am so sorry to Jessica, I just lied to your face about being pregnant and I feel awful about it. Devin and I have chosen to not tell our friends before our parents. I know this is going to hurt you and I feel awful, but we are sticking to it. We are close to our parents and we don't want them feeling like they were the last ones to find out.

We are planning to tell our close friends right after we tell our parents, so right after Thanksgiving. Its only 4 weeks away but feels like forever!

Devin lost his last two softball games last night which was a real bummer. Mike and Stacy were there and didn't sit near me and I only talked to them for like 5 minutes so it was easy to not say anything! They didn't say anything about any babies and that made it even easier. Stacy was trying to figure out who put dog food in her towel drawer while they were out of town and Devin and I and Britt were watching Jazz. Of course she assumes its us because of the birthday stuff and it totally isn't! I told her like I could keep a secret from her since the birthday was so hard and she said true. I was cracking up on the inside at the irony. Oh how little she knows!

Tomorrow is Pizza and Beer night with Mike and Stacy. We always seem to talk about babies, either the cousins or Laila, or other people expecting for like 2 minutes so I am hoping that I stay strong!

First Dr. Appointment

I guess the nurse wasn't lying when she said the first appointment takes a long time! I was there about two hours. Nothing big happened, just lots of different tests and LOTS of questions. Thank god Brittany was with me she new the Burks family history and saved my butt!

I am 4 weeks 5 days along, which isn't very far at all...due July 2nd so I won't have to spend too many hot days pregnant, with any luck. They took 8 tubes of blood, which seemed excessive, but I guess there are quite a few tests to run and he ran a whole thyroid panel too. Apparently having hypothyroidism during pregnancy isn't hard to deal with so that is good news! All of those results should be in on Monday with any luck.

My next appointment is Monday, November 23rd the before we leave for Texas for Thanksgiving. I will be 8-9 weeks along then and if everything goes well at that appointment I am planning on telling my family then so I can tell my brother and his wife and my grandparents in person. Plus, we are taking after the Rankin's this year and doing Thanks-Christmas so that will be a nice little surprise for everyone! They will be shocked and I can't wait! We plan on telling Mike and Stacy right when we get back from Texas. We would do it before, but we are unsure how they would handle themselves on Thanksgiving with Sophia and Henry around. Extended family the plan is Christmas Eve. Hoping we can hold out that long!

Well time to get bundled up for Devin's last softball games of the year! Its going to be cold. I am secretly hoping that Mike and Stacy don't come out so I won't spill the beans, but if they do come I think I can handle it!

It's About Time...

Wahooo! After 13 months of trying to get pregnant we have succeeded! We thought we were never going to get to this point! Sooooooooo excited! I decided to start this blog, because I have a hard time keeping a secret. So, I can write about it and then maybe won't have the urge to tell before I want to. That is probably wishful thinking though. Sorry to our families if we don't see you as often in the next few weeks, we aren't avoiding you per say, but just don't want to spill the beans! As of now, we are planning to tell everyone around Thanksgiving.

Here is how it went down...
When I got home from work I decided to test (with my sister-in-law and Jessica encouraging me) and it was +. I came out of the bathroom screaming, Devin probably thought there was a big spider or something because I was sooo loud. He came down the hallway and I told him. This is not how I ever envisioned telling him that we were expecting, but hey it is an exciting time! We stood there a few minutes, yes I was crying, and then had a "oh crap what do we do now" discussion. We decided to call my doctor and I got an appointment for 1:30 tomorrow! I'm excited that they got me in so soon! I guess in the future when they tell me I have to wait a month I should just lie and say I am pregnant! They say its going to take an hour and half which seems long, but she said there is alot of info they need. She also said most husbands don't go to the first appointment because it is so long. Devin has been sick (took a halfday Monday, and took all of today off) so if he goes back to work he will be swamped and if he doesn't go he probably shouldn't go if hes sick, but all is okay because Brittany has a half-day tomorrow so she volunteered to go with me and listen to all the info. She will probably pay more attention than Devin would anyway! Shes a life-saver (and I am not just saying that because shes the only one that knows about this blog, or am I?).

I am thankful that Devin let me run out and tell Brittany right away. I would not have been able to keep it from her. I kinda feel like we are partners in crime! I just went down to the bank and showed her the picture on my camera phone and she figured it out. I think she was expecting me to tell her she was going to be an aunt when I went in beings we had been texting all day about the possibility. I told her I was stopping by on my way home from the store because I didn't want to be with sick Devin. I really don't think she bought it though.

The nurse said I should have a due date after tomorrow, according to my calculations it should be around July 1st, but we all know numbers are not what I am good at!

Well that is it for now!
